Youth development remains one of the most critical pillars for sustainable national growth, economic transformation, and social advancement. Across Nigeria, young people continue to demonstrate enormous potential in leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, technology, civic engagement, and nation building.

However, many youths still face challenges such as unemployment, limited access to opportunities, inadequate mentorship, social instability, and insufficient platforms for meaningful engagement. The National Youth Assembly of Nigeria (NYAN), Edo State Chapter, recognizes the urgent need to build a stronger and more inclusive system that empowers young people with the tools, networks, and exposure necessary to thrive.

As part of its commitment to transformational leadership, NYAN Edo State is organizing the Edo Youth Summit — a high-impact gathering designed to unite young leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, development partners, students, and professionals for strategic conversations, empowerment, networking, and collaboration.

The summit will serve as a platform to inspire, educate, and equip youths with practical knowledge and opportunities while fostering collective efforts towards sustainable development within Edo State and Nigeria as a whole.
